Our official website will be opening in October. Our Goal is to open the rescue by September 2026.
Comprehensive Canine Rescue, Rehabilitation & Responsible Adoption
We are dedicated to rescuing and rehoming large-breed dogs, particularly German Shepherds, focusing on those at risk of euthanasia in shelters and strays. Please note, we do have breed restrictions.
Our comprehensive approach ensures each dog receives the best possible start:
Rehabilitation Program: We partner with local veterinarians, professional groomers, and expert trainers to address every aspect of a dog's well-being.
Medical Care: Full health assessments, treatments, vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and specialized care.
Physical Wellness: Grooming for hygiene and comfort, alongside physical conditioning to build strength and aid recovery.
Behavioral Training: Extensive obedience training, socialization, and behavior modification to ensure dogs are confident and well-adjusted for their new homes.
Adopter Education: We empower prospective adopters through a mandatory educational training program. This course covers:
Dog Health: Essential knowledge of canine ailments, preventative care, and nutrition.
Training & Behavior: Effective positive reinforcement techniques, leash manners, and understanding canine communication. This ensures our dogs are healthy and well-behaved, and their new families are knowledgeable and prepared for a lifetime of companionship.
Domestic Violence Pet Support
Recognizing that pets can be a barrier for domestic violence victims seeking safety, we collaborate with local organizations to provide safe, temporary housing for their dogs and cats. While time-restricted, we work closely with shelters and victims to ensure the best possible outcome for their pets during this critical time.
